Plant Equipment – Dry Sampling

JKL’s dry solids sampling equipment for plant and port applications comprises a fully integrated system designed to ensure statistical representativeness, mechanical reliability, and strict compliance with international standards in mining and industrial operations. The system covers all stages of the sampling chain: primary increment collection, secondary reduction, homogenization, and final sample storage, providing a technically robust foundation for metallurgical accounting and commercial settlement.

At the primary stage, full cross-stream samplers—both for free-falling streams and conveyor belt applications—ensure equiprobable interception of the material stream, effectively eliminating delimitation and extraction errors. Equipment such as the chute sampler, the enclosed primary sampler JKL-CFS, and the MST-JKL cross-belt sampler are engineered to operate with constant cutter speed and geometry compliant with international standards, ensuring unbiased sampling in belt transfers, shipping streams, concentrates, tailings, and ROM ore.

For specialized applications, the FH-24 sampler enables representative sampling at filter discharge, supporting accurate moisture determination and the calculation of payable dry tonnage. In downstream stages, the HDR-60 rotary homogenizer and divider provides complete batch mixing and representative volumetric reduction, minimizing the Fundamental Sampling Error (FSE), while the CRM-12 rotary sample collector ensures indexed storage, full traceability, and elimination of cross-contamination.

A key differentiator of these systems is that all equipment and sampling stations are fully engineered and manufactured by JKL under controlled quality standards. In addition, systems can be audited and validated in accordance with ISO standards and current sampling procedures, incorporating advanced technology to ensure regulatory compliance, traceability, and operational sustainability in modern mining environments.
