JKL Automatic Vertical Duplex Circular Arc-Path Rotary Sampler

Automatic continuous sampling system featuring a rotary arc-path cutter that fully intercepts the free-falling material stream, simultaneously generating an official plant sample and a supplier reference sample under identical dynamic conditions.

Main Applications: Ore purchasing plants, mineral receiving stations, polymetallic concentrators, and commercial settlement control points involving multiple suppliers.

1. General Description
The JKL Automatic Duplex Circular Arc-Path Rotary Sampler is a heavy-duty industrial unit engineered for the automatic, continuous, and statistically representative extraction of bulk solid material samples, particularly abrasive mineral ores.

The system operates through a rotating arc-path cutter that transversely intercepts the entire free-falling material stream, ensuring full cross-stream interception in strict compliance with accepted sampling theory principles and minimizing the Fundamental Sampling Error (FSE).

The duplex configuration enables the simultaneous and parallel collection of:

  • Official plant sample
  • Supplier counter-sample (reference sample)

2. Parallel Sampling and Counter-Sampling

One of the key engineering advantages of the JKL Duplex system is its capability to generate both the primary sample and the counter-sample simultaneously and independently, under identical cutter sweep conditions.

This feature is critically important in:

  • Mineral processing plants purchasing ore from small-scale or artisanal miners
  • Operations where suppliers require a sealed reference sample for independent laboratory analysis
  • Metallurgical settlement processes based on payable metal grades

The mechanical design ensures that both sample fractions originate from the same cutter sweep event, under identical

This ensures:

  • Commercial transparency
  • Increased confidence between plant and supplier
  • Reduction of analytical discrepancies and claims
  • Full traceability for technical audits and metallurgical accounting

3. Operating Principle

  1. Bulk material is fed into a vertical free-fall chute.
  2. The rotating arc-path cutter fully intercepts the material stream at each programmed sampling interval.
  3. The duplex system mechanically divides the collected increment into two independent discharge channels.

Each fraction is conveyed to its respective sample collection, preparation, or storage system.
