Sampling Process Evaluation
  • Define sampling objectives (chemical composition, moisture, etc.) and their purpose (process control, metallurgical balance, and others).
  • Design the critical stages of the sampling process (from sampling to subsampling and chemical analysis).
  • Evaluation of sampling errors according to short-term heterogeneity (EF, ESG, ED, EE, EP, EW, EN) and long-term heterogeneity (HFE2, HFE3).
  • Mineral heterogeneity test and determination of fundamental error variance.
  • Nomogram for determining the minimum sample weights required per stage.
  • Variography-semivariogram of the minimum sample weights required per stage. Evaluation and determination of sources of error generated in the plant.
  • Definition of sampling protocols, the type of sampling to be used (random, systematic, stratified).
